What alternate location services are available in Firefox and how to replace the Google service for finding directions? Whether I search for directions in Firefox or an app my location isn't determined without enabling Google location.

Not yet. The Mozilla Location Service, which will replace the google service eventually in Firefox for Android, is in the early stage.

Thanks for the info. I will definately look forward to your location services. Aren't there any other location services currently available though?
