Disable automatic downloading over temp folder

Hello. 

Is it possible somehow to disable automatic downloading over temp folder? My C: HDD is SSD and and firefox unnecessarily increases the TotalWrites value and damaging SSD by this downloading. I dont need fastening the download by this. Relocating temp folder is one way, but I want to direct download to destination folder, not over other driver. A am looking to about:config but not see any value to change about this, in preferences is not about this nothing too. So only one way possible to solve this is using chrome? or some other DL program and FF redirect the downloads to this or is is editable?

Changing the stored cache size

V případě SSD je vhodnější celkové řešení: TEMP adresář se dá v systému nastavit na jiný disk. Viz. příloha.

Tak tuto možnost jsme již v dotazu zmínil že ji použít nechci ale že chci donutit mozillu stahovat přímo tam, kam jsme to nastavil. Tohle je řešení jako když nechcete sekat trávu a proto ji postříkáte herbicidem :D

Pokud si nechci zpomalovat PC tak přece nebudu přesouvat temp na HDD... k čemu bych pak ten SSD mel kdybych složku ve které se odehrává spousta akcí dal na pomalý disk? To ale neznamená, že chci SSD zbytečně ničit tím, že se přes něj bude stahovat něco, co má jít přímo na HDD. Temp již dávno přesměrován mám, avšak na jiný SSD právě kvůli rychlosti, stějně tak hyberfile.sys pagefile.sys a jiné soubory.

Můžeš zkusit změnit browser.cache.disk.enable na false. Je běžnou praxí (právě kvůli těm zápisům do TEMP) přesouvat TEMP adresář mimo SSD. Ale je to tvoje věc, když na to máš další SSD.
