The windows toolbar at the bottom of firefox does not work.

Is this a firefox issue?

1. I've gone through settings and auto-hide and that does not work 2. I have gone through bookmark settings and that does not work 3. I have restarted my computer that does not work 4. I have refreshed firefox, that does not work

Hi carlita, the Firefox window should not interfere with the Windows Taskbar.

Sometimes a resizable window becomes too long, but it should slide behind the Taskbar and not block it, and a maximized window should always sit above the Taskbar. However, Firefox's "full screen" mode would hide the Taskbar. To check on that, try pressing the F11 function key once or twice to exit out of full screen.

If that doesn't help, could you describe what is happening in more detail?

The F11 suggestion doesn't work. It's not full screened.

My toolbar is fixed and it's set not to hide. The bottom toolbar was siting over the browser window about ten minutes ago; it just disappeared. I can't find any option on my windows, Firefox (and even google chrome) that will bring the bar back.

I needed to have the text on large, but that didn't affect it until recently. Everything else works fine.

Can you call up the Start menu by pressing Ctrl+Esc? In that case, can you get to the Taskbar settings using either the search box on the Start menu or the Control Panels? Just thinking maybe if you change something there and change it back Windows might get the hint that the Taskbar isn't showing.
