Firefox Sync verification process is cycling
I type my password to login to Firefox Sync, get sent a verification code, I input the code, and am asked for a password again. I put my password again, I am sent another verification code, and am sent to login page again as if nothing happened. The cycle doesn't end until I'm locked out of the account for trying too many times.
(Of course, this is not for the account I am currently posting from, which I just created.)
EDIT: I was using the wrong password the whole time... That was weird.

Click the menu button and select Preferences. Select the SyncFirefox Account panel. Click Sign in and enter your password in the sign in page. Click Sign in to sign back.
re-sync requires a verification code to be sent by email, after receving , that if it says it is invalid that would allow me to go into Gmail ----> Settings ---> Accounts & Import----> Check email from other accounts ---> and then order Gmail to perform a special immediate mailcheck on my selected account. As a slow elderly old codger myself, maximum it will take 10 mins..

It's not that the verification code is invalid. It's that when I enter it, I get taken back to the page where I'm supposed to enter the password.
Click the “Firefox” menu button in Firefox on your computer. Select “Options” and then click the “Sync” tab in the Options window.
Click the “Create a New Account” option to create a new Firefox Sync account. Provide your email address and a password for the account and complete the wizard to create your account.
Install the Firefox app on your Android device. To do so, open the Firefox page on the Google Play website (link in Resources), log in with your Google account, and click the “Install” button to install it. You can also open the “Play Store” application on your Android, search for Firefox and install it.
Launch the Firefox app on your Android device and tap the “Set Up Sync” option at the bottom of the start page. You can also swipe from the right side of the screen to the left, tap the gear-shaped icon, and then tap the “Connect” button under Sync. Three four-digit codes will appear on your screen.
Click the “Firefox” menu button in Firefox on your computer. Select “Options” and click “Sync” at the top of the Options window.
Click the “Pair a Device” link on the Sync pane and type in the three four-digit codes from your Android. Click “Next.” The Firefox app on your Android will automatically sync with Firefox on your PC.
