change auto browser Chrome to Firefox, preferences NOT available.

As you appear to be using windows, I would expect you would probably do better with windows menu items.

So appMenu> Options.

But preferences for default browser are normally set in Windows not Thunderbird under windows. Almost all of Thunderbird preferences in that regard relate to legacy Lunux and OSX applications.
