I have thunderbird on my desktop and my laptop. it has always worked for me. For some reason the layout keeps changing on my laptop without me doing anything. I have reinstalled it but it keeps happening. The only way to get back the correct layout is to restore a backup I have. Desktop image looks the way it should called correctlook, the laptop image is the messed up one called messedup Would appreciate any help.

Does your laptop have the Conversations add-on? Disable it and see if the layout is normal.
