Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

I can download in safe mode. But not in normal mode. I tried to disable the addons but it doesnt seem working.

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

I reinstalled windows and then freasly installed firefox. Problem still goes on.
It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
I have windows defender. I tried to close everything firewall and stuff and didnt make any change. Guys im about to switch my browser after using it for years. I don't wanna do that. Somebody help me please

I dont know why but i couldnt connect to the internet in safe mode. So that also did not work...
safe mode with network support?
What is that going to solve? I even reinstalled the whole windows and freashly installed firefox. Why am i the only one experiencing this? Hello? Any developer gives a damn? What kind of a problem is that? Also my sync is broken.. nothing came back.
In most computers, there are several types of Safe Mode. The primary ones used most are;
- Safe Mode: Only programs that came with the computer are started. No other programs will be started unless the user starts them.
- Safe Mode with Networking: Same as above but the network drivers (internet) will also be running.
This is a way to test if one of the other programs on the computer is causing the issue.
Alright i tried that and it downloads in safe mode like it does in firefox safe mod. I guess we have a hint now. What seems to be the problem now?
If the computer in Safe Mode works, the problem is likely another program on your system. As a test, disable your protection programs.
I dont know what happened but the problem is gone now. Maybe safe mode fixed it somehow. Thanks.
