After I had lost my left pane T bird saved email folders, you helped me restore them. But now when i open them, the contents are all missing. This represents years of work. Please advise how to restore the content, thank you

Matt- Thank you for the suggestion to install the new Add-on which you refer to. My only hesitation, being a less sophisticated tech person, is if I install the new version, is there any danger that my lost email file content on the older version might be permanently lost with old version. This is a lot of files. If you don't think this is a problem, and maybe it isn't, I will go ahead. Thx again for your continuing help.
