I found my older Thunderbird account on an older laptop I'm getting ready to retire. I'm sure the e-mails are not on my current laptop. Is there a way to import the older Thunderbird account/e-mails into my current version of Thunderbird Version 78.8.0? Thanks...

Open the profile folder on the old laptop: Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder. Close TB, open the account subfolder(s) of Mail (POP accounts) or ImapMail (IMAP accounts), and Mail/Local Folders. Find the mbox files, the large files with no extension, named after folders. Copy the mbox files to Mail/Local Folders on the new laptop, with TB closed. Restart TB and see the folders under Local Folders in the Folder Pane.
