Sync does nothing after system restore

more options

I just had to system-restore my PC and when I redownloaded firefox, all of my settings/toolbars/bookmarks were gone. I thought hitting "sync now" would restore them from my Firefox account and it did nothing. I've kept the same bookmarks and saved passwords through at least three machines, I don't know what I did wrong or why it isn't working now. I'm afraid that hitting "sync now" has just overwritten all of my stored data instead of restoring it as I thought it would. Please help.

I hear Ya!

try logging out of your ff acct

then install v86 ff.

you will then have 2 versions installed, and "maybe a little conflict with profiles"

but then you then log into your ff acct from the older version, it should be updated with your sync'd data.

if it does happen, then afterwards, log out from ff acct and play around on the internet.

later manually export the data to files on your disk for those just in case scenarios.
