Firefox does not display pages on linux mint cinnamon 20.2, not even internal ones like "about:config" wenn entered into the address field. There is no error message and the page remains empty. I managed to display only a few internal pages with links from the menu like: "Add-ons and Themes" or "More Troubleshooting Information". When I change the address now (when the firefox logo is displayed on the left) I can access other internal pages like "about:config" but no web pages. I tried several settings that I found in the forums, but not success: Connection settings hardware acceleration network.dns.disableIPv6 network.dns.disablePrefetch Troubleshoot mode

Chromium browser works fine.

Hello,

I am not aware if this is causing your issues, but please try to reinstall. I am assuming that you know this, but the command would be sudo apt remove firefox && sudo apt update && sudo apt install firefox This will ensure that you have the latest version. This will not remove your profile (your history, bookmarks, passwords, etc.)

You also may be interested in the versions directly from Mozilla, instead of the Ubuntu repositories.
