Can't turn off default reminder for events
I have turned off the global default reminder setting and also the one specific to the calendar, however every event I create has a 30 min earlier reminder by default.
Please help, it's really annoying.

Is this for a Google calendar? There's a 30 min. default reminder in calendar settings on the website (see picture).
