uninstall and reinstall
I am unable to log into Google Drive using Firefox (W11) Google wants me to uninstall and reinstall FF
There's quite a few help articles that leave me with a queasy feeling. I have saved passwords, extensions and a huge number of bookmarks. I don't want to lose anything (partly because I don't think this will solve the problem)
I'd appreciate a step-by-step on how to FULLY backup prior to uninstall/reinstall. Also, if there is anything special about how to unintall other than using the Windows uninstall. And, if there's something I'm going to have to do to get my passwords, extensions and bookmarks back.

Why should you do that? I don't think it will solve the problem.
What happens when you try to log into G drive?
An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if the problem still occurs there.
TyDrainu, I agree, but Google won't provide further diagnostic help if I don't do this. Idiotic, but they are adhering to the script and nothing I've said in response has changed their behavior
Terry, The login process starts, the circle spins, nothing happens, it times out and I'm told to try again Works fine with Chrome and Edge
Uninstall and reinstall.... Still would like to know how to do this without losing a lot of setting, preferences, etc. so-called help articles require advanced knowledge which I do not have.
Before doing anything backup your profile.

There are things you can try before following G's 'advice'.
You could try clearing the cache then deleting Cookies. If that doesn't work, try right-clicking the site in History then Forget about this site. Make sure you have a backup record of your user name and password before doing that because they will be forgotten also.

If none of those fixes the issue, try restarting in troubleshoot mode.
