Slow response on opening second browser window
I have been using two Firefox browser windows a lot recently. Suddenly the response time to a request to open new window went from immediate to 20 seconds. Initially that meant I hit the "new window" button 10 times to get any response which meant browsing was interrupted for the next 5 minutes by the appearance of yet more new windows at 20 second intervals! Has anyone any idea about what has happened?

The problem seems to have been cured by rebooting. Sorry about that.
