I am planning on downloading firefox but now run internet explorer, what should I be looking out for in terms of any problems?

You should set one browser as the default - https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+make+Firefox+the+default+browser

Since Firefox is so great, you can Import Bookmarks and other data from Microsoft Edge
