When I do a google seach I get a result, but if I add to my search term or I change it and I hit enter or click "search", it just sits there. I have to refresh the page to get it to work. This just started today.

Thanks

Ok, so there's a bunch of us having the problem. Is this a Firefox problem or a Google problem?

It appears to be Google serving up a bad (corrupted) version of the Google homepage to Firefox users. See https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/for.../715532 or https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/for.../714471

Same exact problem here too. I should have checked this site first before I did a system restore which, BTW, did not help.

I did a system restore and the problem was fixed, last night, but today I'm having the same problem.

I'm not sure if it is Google or firefox. FF3.6, FF3.6.4, and FF3.6.6 all fail in the same way for me. This behavior just started in the last day or so.

Your Google searches will work if you don't let Google use Javascript. The most practical way to implement this workaround is with the NoScript add-on, available from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722 - just allow the sites you trust (good security practice anyway), but DO NOT allow google.com. This will allow your google searches to work while they fix this bug.

Do the tech people from Mozilla monitor this forum? Any thoughts from them?

It's not a world ending problem, just very irritating and inconvenient.

Surely Google isn't doing this to get people to go to Chrome, are they?
