Is there a plan to fix the wheel mouse issue?

I just updated to 3.6.6, and my scroll wheel stopped working. I found the suggestions in the help section, and completed all steps, but the scroll wheel still will not work. It worked fine right up until I updated to 3.6.6. Is there a plan to fix this issue?

One other thing, I tried disabling all of my plugins, and it still would not work.
