What is difference between Firefox versions (ie., 3.0, 3.5 & 3.6, for examples) and why not make that info readily accessible at the download page?
Would like to know basic differences between major versions, so I can best choose for my needs. If there is a reason for major version changes (ie., 3.0.x, 3.5.x, 3.6.x), why not make that info readily available at download page? Seems like an obvious question is just ignored.

The 3.0.x version is no longer getting security/stability updates and has known vulnerabilities that are being actively exploited.
The 3.5.x version will stop getting those updates next month, so after that only the 3.6.x version will be supported. This information is available at the old version download page
