How do I change the option to remember a password for a certain site

I take it that first you need to remove the password that has already been remembered, for details of how to do that see viewing and deleting passwords.

To stop Firefox remembering the password, the next time you log into the site, when asked if you want it to remember the password you can select the "Never for this site" option.
