update doesn't work
First Firefox runs slow and keeps freezing. I find out by chance that it is updating itself without ever notifying me or asking permission. Isn't this bloody rude?
Then I have infinite problems downloading the Adobe plug in. It won't start downloading. I get the plug-in via a friend and install it. Firefox still frozen and not working. SO........ why do you ***** have to **** about with a program that works perfectly? Can you not build a matchstick model of the Golden Gate Bridge if you have time on your hands, or just go away and play with yourselves? You're a ******* pain. Complete and utter ******* pain

Automatic updates are a default setting in Firefox. If you don't want updates done automatically, you have the option to change that thru Tools > Options > Advanced - Update.
