I cannot access my bookmarks or add new ones.

My laptop had a virus (or malware maybe) which would not allow me to open any files. I ran the "restore" program and reset the date for 2 days before the virus appeared. The computer runs well now but I cannot access my bookmarks nor can I add new bookmarks. Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
