Version 4 not compatible with AVG safe search. How do I go back to previous version

I downloaded Version 4 but it is not compatible with some of my features. How do I go back to the previous version?

I found that you can download version 3.6 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html you don't need to uninstall 4.0 It will return back as it was.

I asked AVG and they say Safe Search will be compatible shortly.
