When I do a google search on the Google tool bar a drop down window appears. On the last version of firefox I clicked on one of the choices in the window and it would do that search, that doesn't happen with the new version.

Known issue with the Google Toolbar extension in Firefox 4.0. Try using the up & down arrow keys to get to a search result, and then hit the Enter key - some GTB users have said that works. Other users have reported that uninstalling the GTB extension and installing a freshly downloaded version solved that problem for them. I haven't had that problem in 4.0 with a new Firefox Profile, but I don't use that Profile very often and don't have much of search history built up; no problem with the Google auto complete suggestions either.
