Charter is automatically transferring browser to their engine-cannot block

Charter Communications is automatically switching the Firefox browser to their browser any time you type into the browser window. Cannot find any settings to defeat this change over. Removed all of their cookies and blocked and still happens. Not cool! Charter Communications is my internet provider. Thanks Ron

The "setting" is outside of Firefox and outside of Mac OSX.

Check with Charter to see how you can "opt out" of their search redirect "service". It seems that every ISP had their own way of doing that "opt out". The way I do it for Comcast won't work for other ISP's.
