After downloading FF4 I lost my bookmarks and all the solutions you suggested do no work. I can I get the bookmarks back or if not possible, uninstall FF4 and go back to 3.6
I downloaded an upgrade of Firefox 4 onto my MacBook Pro and cannot retrieve my bookmarks. I followed the directions to change a profile file but this did not work. Please help me get my Bookmarks.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
