Upgraded to the latest firefox yesterday and now trusteer rapport (bank security add on) does not work. There is no trusteer icon. I downloaded trusteer again and still no success. Is it not compatible?

Trusteer rapport is a banking security feature offered by my bank. I have used it for years with success. After downloading the new firefox yesterday (upgrading) trusteer no longer works. I would like it to or get something comparable to protect my banking. any solutions?

Hey all,

I know the question asker said he already tried downloading Trustseer again, and I also know that we're on Firefox 5 now, but I went to the Trustseer website and found this:

"Rapport now supports the use of Firefox 4. The supported version is being gradually released for public downloads.

If you do not see the Rapport icon in your Firefox 4 browser, please download Rapport from the below links."

Looks like there are still outdated versions of Trustseer out there for download. I downloaded and reinstalled from the below link and it's now working fine on my Windows XP Firefox 5. There is also a download for Mac users there:

http://www.trusteer.com/faq/i-dont-see-rapport-icon-firefox-4

(I didn't uninstall the old version myself, just re-installed straight over the top, and selected the "It doesn't work - I'm trying to fix it" option during the installation process, when it points out that Trustseer is already installed)

Hope that helps others.

Cheers, Shaun
