How do I uninstall ask.com? It is ruining my business.

I have tried at least 7 or 8 ways to uninstall this awful program. None work. Please clearly tell me what to do, so I don't have to delete Firefox from my computer, and go to another browser. The former feature which allowed me to Recreate Past Session was great for me, and is now gone.
