printer button or print in file menu no longer work and cannot print after installing Firefox 5 upgrade

If I want to make a copy and click on the print button or click on print in the file menu nothing happens therefore I cannot copy information from searches. This problem started when I downloaded Firefox 5 upgrade.

Tried resetting printer as per your suggestion. Did not help. If I shift from Firefox to Internet Explorer I can print and everything works fine. I am 90 and do not know anything but this tells me that the trouble is not the printer but it is with the Firefox 5 upgrade that I downloaded. I never had this trouble with Firefox before.
