not saving passwords

I get all the saving passwords windows like the "key" pop up window and the master password pop up window but when I check for websites and passwords saved it is blank. What really pissses me off is that all my previous websites and passwords are gone and I can't reload to a previous version of Firefox.

Are you using cleanup software like CCleaner or other software that may have corrupted files?
