Hi.

I recently noticed this problem, but don't know why it's happening.

When I visit certain websites, the language of that particular site gets changed. For example, I visited the Spotify site yesterday, and the language was changed to Swedish.

This isn't to do with my IP; that's reported correctly, and the language in the Preferences panel is also set as it should be. I've also checked the general.useragent setting in the about:config dialog, which is also correct.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this could be happening?

I've tried this with a portable installation of FF, and the pages display as they should. I've also tested them in IE.

Thanks.

Elliott.

How is your location reported?

Are you using a proxy to connect?

You can find the connection settings in Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
See "Firefox connection settings":

Hi, and thanks for your reply.

I'm not using a Proxy, and my IP is detected as my proper location.

Any more ideas?

Thanks.
