How to disable extensions check without installing add-on compatibility reporter ?

What is the config key to disable add-ons compatibility checking ? extensions.checkCompatibility.8.0 doesn't work anymore. Add-ons compatibility reporter corrupted profile : firefox restart in english and stays in english even after disabling the extension. I had to restore profile from a backup.

Be aware that enabling extensions that way only work if the extension is compatible with Firefox 8, but isn't marked as such, either in the XPI file or via a compatibility check on the update server.
You can get all kinds of problems if you try to force an incompatible extension to get loaded.
Which extension are you trying to load?
All that are not marked as compatible yet when upgrading to latest version of firefox. When there is a compatibility issue, i disable manually the extension, using safe mode if required, but it is very rare. And i always do a backup of my profile folder before upgrading.
