Firefox crashes on opening
When trying to open Firefox, it just hangs and I have to force quit. I have trashed the previous application and downloaded and installed a new application. Same result on opening.

I have completed all of the suggestions from the link and it still crashes on opening. Is there a way to clear all history from Firefox without it being open? The initial crash happened when I was on a Google Maps page.
