Things work fine at first, then, after a while some of the scroll functions cease. Also I am unable to zoom or if I have zoomed, I can't reverse it...I then have to physically turn my mac off and restart. No problems with Safari!!

Actually, another followup question: do you have a PDF or plugin (like Flash) with focus in another tab... there may be a bug where certain plugins are stealing focus from the foreground tab when they're in the background.
