The new FF version (8.0.1) runs far more slowly on my old computer, so how can I uninstall it and return to the previous version?

My computer with windows XP dates to 2005, with a Sempron 2400, 1.66 GHz, 224 MB RAM

Uninstall 8.0.1 and do NOT check the remove personal settings (unless you want to start fresh).

Then install 3.6.24

You need more RAM to be able to use a Firefox 4+ version, 512MB or more.
