When exporting bookmarks if there is an apostrophe in the link name it comes out as ' can this be fixed?

if you have a link named with an apostrophe like Domino's when I export the bookmarks the name on import is Domino's. A simple find and replace fixes this but it would be nice not to have to do that.

If you export the bookmarks to an HTML file then such characters need to be escaped as HTML entities. You can't prevent that.
