Just downloaded Firefox,do I take IE8 off control panel? How can I open my Juno homepage including Firefox?

A screen message appeared, I was told my IE8 was outdated,I had to Update IE* or choose another browser, I chose to Install Firefox. Now I have several questions: DO I delete IE8 from control panel & how do I get Firefox to open on my Juno homepage? Thanks.

Hi backbier2006,

You do not have to uninstall IE from your computer. That is strictly a preference. In fact, you may find that some windows programs require it, so it might be best just to leave it.

For your other question, you should take a look at the Knowledge Base article How to set the home page. This article will show you how to set the home page to anything you like.
