There is an article on that here: Uninstall Firefox from your computer.

If you just want to test how Firefox will look without Extensions and Themes (but still with your current plugins), you can try a reset. See: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

If you want to completely remove Firefox but save your settings, such as bookmarks, passwords, etc., then you should first make a backup copy of your active profile (settings) folder. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.) Later, you can mine this selectively to recover key settings.

With respect to plugins, many are installed by third party software and Firefox detects their presence through registry settings. There isn't a one-step removal process for those; you probably have to find their individual uninstallers. Alternately, you could simply disable them in Firefox if the goal is to test how Firefox runs without them.

What kind of problems do you have that you want to uninstall and reinstall Firefox?

Note that Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox Profile Folder on Windows (main profile and the cache).

Profile: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Cache: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.
