These games are downloads from various websites (myfreegames.com; gametop.com; freeridegames.com; others) and the action is always the same - as soon as I exit or close-out a game, Firefox immediately opens, and connects me with that particular game company's website. There must be some way to disable this. Please help.

I don't believe there is. These sites are on the edge of being illegitimate often, and they will open up a browser window to try to either sell you a game, or display ads (or both). It is just opening Firefox because that is your default browser.

To Tylerdowner - thanks for the info; I was afraid there'd be nothing in the Firefox program itself. I'm guessing there must be something embedded in the game program file that is triggered when I close the program. Anyway, thanks again for the help.
