That is probably a problem with JavaScript.

You can try basic steps like these in case of issues with web pages:

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Thanks for the response.

I think it is JAVA too as it happens on Chrome, IE and Firefox....but ONLY for this page and any extensions beyond it.

I tried all of those things and nothing. I also thought it was Java so I upgraded to the Version 7 Update 25. And that has done nothing to fix.

here is what the site looks like

To avoid confusion:

Make sure that you do not block JavaScript.

I'm not seeing this error on the page that you posted (http://cbssports.com/).

Is this error showing on that page or on another page of the website?

Did you try Safe Mode?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps in case your security software is blocking content as it appears to happen in other browsers as well.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.

I see. Im wondering then if my company has disabled JavaScript for this site or sites like it.

I dont see anywhere on CONTENT where that option is available.

The check boxes to enable/disable JavaScript and load images automatically have been removed from "Options > Content".

You can check the javascript.enabled pref on the about:config page, but I assume that it is set to true, because otherwise you would have a lot more problems.

You can check the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Ctrl+Shift+K) for errors with loading files.

The CCS errors that you see can be ignored as they aren't contributing to this issue.

You can also check the Network tab and reload the page to see if all files load.

Thanks for the help. But I am not sure what you mean on your last comment. Is there something I need to do or can do to ignore? What am I checking the console for and then doing what with it?

That last part is about to check whether all files are retrieved properly from the server and that none failed.

The Web Console shows error messages and the Network tab shows the progression of loaded files.

So did you want me to post something? Why would it be that any browser I use has this issue with just this site?
