Multimedia keys not working while Firefox is focused
As the title describes, my multimedia key on my keyboard won't work with my music player (AIMP3) when Firefox is focus. At the second anything else is focus, they work perfectly.
The only place where I've seen them being used in Firefox is Youtube so in my understanding, they should work with my media player if Youtube isn't loaded.
is there any way to prevent Firefox from using my multimedia keys?
For the record, I'm using a Logitech G110.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.
I have already tried that and it doesn't solve my problem.
Something that I noticed however is that if the music player is launched while Firefox is already running, then the media keys will work correctly.
If however the music player is running and Firefox is launched, they stop working if Firefox is focused. So my guess would be that Firefox triggers some default key binding options that are mapped to the multimedia keys. That's what I am looking to disable if possible.
