You have asked Firefox to connect securely to services.addons.mozilla.org, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
I am getting the following error:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to services.addons.mozilla.org, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure. Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
This is YOUR website. Why can't you connect to it?

Check that the date and time on the computer is set correctly.

If the problem continues after checking the date and time please say what security related software you are using, because some security software may cause this sort of problem.
Does the problem only occur with that site ?
It appears the addons site may have been having some performance issues maybe they are affecting you.

The date is fine on that computer. I do see from the status that addons has been having problems so I guess I will wait a week or two and see if it gets resolved however, I don't have any problems here at work on a linux machine using firefox. It is just the windows machine that won't work. I tried turning off the windows security essentials, the firewall, noscript, and pretty much everything I could find. And I did add addons.mozilla.org to the list of allowed to install addons.
(I would just add that Firefox blocks almost every site no matter how reputable they really are so it isn't just their own site that they are giving me problems with but this did not even give me the option of viewing or adding the certificate.)
Ok so your work computer is ok.

I am assuming that is just the Firefox setting, and nothing to do with some other program. If that is the case it probably has no bearing on the current issue.
You say almost every site is blocked. Can you give a couple of examples ? Presumably this forum site is ok.
