whenI download I get amessage that the download a has timed out amd will not be downloaded
When I try to down load a program I get a notice that the download has timed out and will not download. Is it something I can fix? I tried to down windows update and this happens. also I cannot download adobe flash player.

- You already have Flash Player according to your system information.

Windows updates either are automated or normally use IE
IIRC at one time uninstalling IE was not a good idea.

As for downloads timing out check that you have the correct download and that that nothing is blocking the downloads.

It may be possible to increase the download timeout but it is better to look for the cause first.
