I want to open a pdf file from a file location which get changed every 5 mins. I am using "ReloadEvery" add on to do this for me. But when i am trying to overwrite the pdf file on the file location its not allowing me to overwrite. It says file already exists, use other name.

Which program are you using to do the overwriting? Can you do it with other programs? If not, you might check the permissions on the destination folder: you may need the delete and modify permissions to overwrite a file.

It should work if you open the file embedded in a Firefox tab (internal PDF Viewer or using a plugin).
If this link triggers a download action and the name stays the same then Firefox can ask for confirmation to replace the file.
