How do I import mail and contacts from eM Client?

I want to migrate from eM Client to Thunderbird. I cannot see in eM Client any export options to do so. What do I do? My email provider is Gmail.

Do you have all messages left on the server? Then you can simply set-up your Gmail account as IMAP account.

To import your contacts from Gmail you can use this add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/google-contacts/
