After downloading the app for my Note 10.1-2014, synced my Desktop bookmarks, I cannot see the 3-bar menu and when I do use my menu button it does not work.
I have searched all the ways I know about this. I have FF V28 on my PC.
I downloaded FF v 28.0.1 and I cannot get the 3 bar / dot menu on my Note 10.1-2014 tablet.
All your support notes describe the possibility of using my Home button, main button and even the back button. Still no luck and really want to use it on my tablet.

The menu will show up on the lower right of the Firefox app when you press the device menu button. If you don't see the menu option you expect to see try panning up to reveal other options.
The only pop window coming up at the lower right has the following; + New Tab + New Private Tab Faded share faded find in page Request Desktop Site Tools Settings
I looked at all the sub tabs and still no luck.
One thing that still puzzles me is the look of when I open the app is: It has four tabs at top, Top Sites, Bookmarks, Reading List, History. Thought it would look different.
Could sure use some assistance. Thanks, Peter
Select settings from that menu then Sync from the settings page.

I have no issue sync-ing. I can open the settings and then go to sync, then sync. But I cannot get the menu to open to select file, edit, history, tools etc, which is what I normally have on my FF.
You're running the mobile version of Firefox. All the options that are normally on Firefox desktop won't be on the Android version. File, Edit, etc have been replaced by the menu you used to access the settings Kevin gave you.
Thanks for your reply and assistance.
I have read on some developer sites that it is available and that it does show up. Other sites have indicated that it only works on Note 10.1 edition. Not the 2014 version. I just cannot get a deliberate answer from FF. See pix.
If your device has a physical menu button then the three dot/bar menu is not shown. The options contained in the menu are exactly the same.
Well, Not exactly the same.
No Print menu, no saved passwords tab, no save page as, etc..
Will find an answer someday. thanks to all.
Hi rketek1, you may be viewing information about something other than the current release of Firefox for Android.
When using the Knowledge Base here, if the article title doesn't mention Android, check the "Editing Tools" section in the left sidebar to make sure it specified Firefox for Android and not one of the desktop versions.
For what it's worth, I have attached screen shots of the "3-dot" menu from a Nexus 5. "Back" is a physical button on the device, so it doesn't appear on the screen within Firefox.

jscher2000, Thanks for chiming in.
I am using the button to the left of the center menu button on my GN 10.1-2014 tablet.
It will open a limited menu box on the lower right, but I still will not get the three dots. I am trying to go back and find the article that describes what and how to get it. as seen on the attached pix of a Note tablet.
Hi rketek1, on Samsung devices, which have a menu button to the left of the home button, Firefox does not show an in-app menu button even on ICS and newer. That's just how the app is designed. If you compare the menu you get on the lower right with the one I get from the 3-dot menu button, they match.
On that u r correct.
Will look for that darn article, and I just learned that 4.4 version of Android will be updated on the NOTE 2014. Maybe that will do it or the beta 29v of FF.
Thanks again.
Maybe your download for the Firefox program was corrupt. It might come in full if you "e.g" save it to your desktop; or run it without closing the webpage; or check you firewall, etc.
Tried and no success. Still looking for somebody that has the 3-bar at top
Hi rketek1, unless something has changed, you will not see a 3-dot menu in Firefox for Android when your device has a physical menu button.
Thanks for the follow up, and am still hopeful there is a solution.
Hi rketek1, what are you looking for that is not on the menu on your device?
