Hallo, ich kann seit gestern keine Emails mehr bei Thunderbird versenden und auch keine empfangen. Ich habe 3 Email Adressen dort eingerichtet. Bis gestern funktioniert alles. Woran kann das liegen, habe nichts verändert. Hat ein Thunderbird ein Problem auf den Server zu zugreifen?

Über eine Antwort würde ich mich freuen.

I'm experiencing an issue where the fonts in the Firefox application interface are broken or appear distorted. However, the fonts on websites are displayed correctly.

I have already tried resetting browser settings, reinstalling Firefox, and clearing cache, but the issue persists. It seems to be related specifically to the application’s UI fonts and not website rendering.

Steps taken so far: - Manually cleared profile and cache (in ~/Library folders) - Reinstalled latest firefox.

Macbook m2pro, macos Sonoma 14.7.2

I have two outlook email accounts. With both I get the error: "unable to log in at server probably wrong configuration username or password "

Username and password are correct because a mini browser window pops up, asking me to allow Thunderbird as an authorised program to access my emails.

Configuration matches what's on here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/pop-imap-and-smtp-settings-for-outlook-com-d088b986-291d-42b8-9564-9c414e2aa040

Also the details are found correctly from probing the server anyway.

This has been asked before here, but it seems currently there is no solution:

Firefox's default behavior when using the mouse middle-click on an empty area of the tab bar area will create a new tab; I don't want this behavior. How can I disable it?

On the posts I found here, they mention using UserChrome.css, I enabled it and tried, doesn't work. custom styles are enabled but not disabling this feature.

I use DisplayFusion on my multi-monitor setup since years, and middle-clicking a window title bar or Chrome tab bar or Firefox tab bar will move the current window to a second monitor.

Currently with Firefox, middle-clicking the tab bar will move the window to the second monitor AND open a new tab. I use it a lot with YouTube, so when I move a playing video to the second monitor, I get an empty tab with audio in the background.

I recently moved from Chrome to Firefox, but this is driving me crazy.

Firefox a détecté que le serveur redirige la demande pour cette adresse d’une manière qui n’aboutira pas. 

   La cause de ce problème peut être la désactivation ou le refus des cookies.

Ce site est un important outil de travail pour moi. Merci pour votre aide

I have Windows 11 - 23H2 up to date ! since 21/1/2025 each time I start Firefox (up to date 134.02 - 64 bits) I get a warning from Malwarebytes Browser Guard that blocks a outgoing request coming from Firefox via port 443 to the IP 82.221.136.1 ( = welcometothemachine.co …. what is that ?? analytics ? AI  ??) .... I am asking myself why is Firefox trying to go to that IP because I never did ask for something like that and how to delete the whole request every time now .... I have tried the suggested: In window search type :%Appdata% - see image below as guide Select %Appdata% file folder Select 'Roaming' Select 'Thunderbird' Select 'Profiles' Select the 'profile name' folder look for and delete this file : parent.lock

But when I do access appdata all I find is a Microsoft folder. Properties of the appdata folder are to show hidden files and the number gigabytes in the folder properties are greater that the just the Microsoft folder has suggesting that there are hidden folders. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have read various post saying the profiles folder is %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles\ but on my side I have many folder, and it can explain why when I use a backup tool, I loose all my e-mail. I have - C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles - C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles - C:\Users\Me\Administrateur\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles

And how to have only one ? I have tried to edit setting to use only C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles but the application refuse it.
