Recently a folder showed up in my bookmarks named Other Bookmarks... There are no bookmarks inside the folder and when I go to Show All Bookmarks it will not let me delete this folder. How do I delete? It is unwanted and unnecessary.

I think you would need to use an add-on or custom style rule to hide that folder or move it back to the end of the menu where it used to be called Unsorted Bookmarks. I haven't searched, but you could take a look:

Hi, as jscher2000 said, it's a renaming of Unsorted Bookmarks, possibly to reflect that the bookmark process is now rather different: When you click on the star, the bookmark, by default, will go into Other Bookmarks. However if you wish it to go to a different destination, keep your mouse pointer over the dialog box to prevent it from disappearing, then use the upper, downward pointing arrow on the far right, to select a destination > Done. Previously, one would have had to click the star twice to select a destination other than Unsorted.

I would like this folder to be back at the bottom of the list but am not allowed to move it or delete it. If anyone figures out how to get it out of my way, I would be grateful. Jane

I never use it, so how do I delete it?

As in GONE, not hidden?

Sorry, that folder doesn't have a Delete option, it is a "smart" folder. Hide it or mentally ignore it - those are the only options available.

Other Bookmarks is not a smart folder like Recently Bookmarked ans Most Visited, but is one of the three built-in root folders in the All Bookmarks folder where you can create new bookmarks and new folders. These root folders can't be removed, but you can possibly hide them in the Bookmarks menu and in the "Show your bookmarks" drop-down list.
