Please can anyone tell me how to undo the option of deleting the trash folder contents without confirming the deletion. I clicked on 'Don't show this again' when I clicked empty trash and it asked if I really wanted to to delete everything but now I think I really need that option of checking again before I delete files. I've looked everywhere but can't find out how to undo that and can't find anything on here to help either.

Chosen solution

If you open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and copy mailnews.emptyTrash.dontAskAgain into the Search box, you will probably see that its value is 'true'. Double-click the preference to switch it to false.
