when I open a website, after few seconds Firefox switch to this wkpg.org by himself. I have deleted cokies, history, run scan from Kaspersky and Microsoft antimalware, try to block the wkpg.org website to no avail. Anyone knows how to eliminate this not wanted loading? by the way, why Firefox do not prevent this obvious malware to load? and Kaspersky I have new laptop and installed just few days ago but seems can't prevent this issue?

Hi, unfortunately not all programs will remove all malware, so please try any of these that you haven't already run -

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

After the malware has been removed, you may then need to reset your Home Page - How to set the home page.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

This post can help you. A lot of people have this problem from yesterday. http://www.reddit.com/r/China/comments/33wpk3/anyone_else_almost_all_websites_in_both_chrome/

I installed adblock plus from firefox Add-ons market and added a filter rule and the problem gone.

You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if suspicious software shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.

You can delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
