No css/html is loading correctly. Firefox crashed and now this happens.
I was using Firefox and it crashed, now when I try to open any site, they only show up looking like the attached image. Was it possible a button was pressed or something was turned off when it was having issues? I cannot figure out how to get it working again.
Chosen solution
I fixed it. There was an option to disable CSS in firefox and it was enabled.

Could you try again to attach a screenshot?
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
Yes sorry! I had attached an image but I guess I didn't wait for it to upload. I re-attached it to this reply. This is going to google, every site looks like this. It isn't loading any css/html. Page style is on basic page style so it is not that.
Modified
Is the problem affected by HTTPS vs. HTTP addresses? In other words, is the problem limited to secure sites?
Have you tried shutting down Windows and starting it up again in case a file got "locked" and not released normally?
Https vs http has no changes, meaning secure vs non secure sites does nothing. Also restarting the computer doesn't work, nor does going to default FF settings.
Maybe a program file got damaged. Could you try this:
Clean Reinstall
We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean (no inconsistent, corrupted, or alien code files). As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.
(A) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 41.0.2 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(B) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).
(C) Rename just the current program folder, either:
(64-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox
(32-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(D) Run the installer you downloaded in (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
Does Firefox work more normally?
Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:
- \OldFirefox\Plugins
- \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
Otherwise, there's no reason to keep the old folder except research/curiosity.
I did that and nothing changed. I believe the problem is stuck in the old settings. Is there some button/buttons that can be pressed that causes this?

Whoa, I had no idea. Where did you find it?
